We're Back!! :)

The three of us left Alex alone to man the blog for a week while we went to basketball camp. So a day later and we are going to learn how to can with our lovely Nana!! I'm excited, I love canned cherries and dilly beans in the winter!! :) I'll post pics later.

The Dress.

I finished :) okay i finished it yesterday...

but i think it turned out fairly well :) I'm thinking that if i used a colored pillowcase it wouldn't look so much like a pillowcase :)

Fourth of July!!!

Happy Fourth!! okay I'm a day late... but its not my fault, i was left to man the blog alone for an ENTIRE WEEK! As for the Fourth we (my bestie Alexis and Myself) went on base for an amazing fireworks display :) we bought sparkly headbands, airbrushed tattoos and necklaces we declared as friendship necklaces.

Garden Profits :)

Today my mother and i planted our tomato plants :) and i picked a couple carrots to see how they were getting along, plus i found one strawberry!!

Pillowcase Dress...

Today I am going to attempt to create a pillowcase dress. I am using some pillowcases that have embroidery done by my great grandmother, I think by making them into dresses more people will see their hard work than having them trapped in a linen closet.

Goodwill Treasures.

Some people find Goodwill repulsive, and at some moments, yes it is. But sometimes you get really lucky and find the cutest treasures you didn't even know you needed!! :) My dear mother and I found these items the other afternoon and were very happy with our finds.  However, we spotted a yellow piece of luggage that I absolutely HAD to have in the warehouse, but of course we couldn't ask them if we could have it, so we'll be stopping by frequently to check if its out. :)  I hope everyone is having a lovely week!!
